Johnny Chase Mysteries - The Invisible Kid Detective: The Arcade; Burn (Sci-Fi); A Touch of Mayhem (Sequel to Big Mistake); Love and Murder.

Johnny Chase Mysteries and Burn I wrote about 12 years ago cannot find floppy discs! Half of JCM on paper was located. Still looking for anything on Burn. Wasn't dedicated to my craft back then. Didn't believe in myself!

    Next two novels pending.

I want to thank my cousin Greg for inviting me to the king Family & Friend Day outing. Boy oh boy did I have a good time. I got to see family, laugh, eat, drink and even ran into a childhood friend from 148th Street (Felicia-Wendy's daughter) out a Rye Playland on Saturday. These are the moments that make life so much fun and allows you to understand to true meaning of what living is really all about. Much love to everyone!

Hi everyone, I was so tired after work that I decided to go to my old office and put my head down and take a nap before heading home that way I wouldn't fall asleep on the train and end up in East Flatbush somewhere. Well when I woke up it was 12:05 am. Now I started to stay at the job and I pondered it for about a good 15 minutes because I'd have be back at work 9 am tomorrow and by time I got home it would be close to 1 am but I'm thinking you need to go feed the cat and sleep in your own bed, so you can get up in the morning and shower, etc.

Okay let me share this next point with you loudly and clearly....when your mind is telling to do something do it, don't do the other the thing that you are rationalizing.

So I go home and when I get there it is 12:50 am. I put the key in my door and the key breaks in my lock! The look on my face was priceless. I can here X-Ray at the door meowing at the top of his lungs (can't blame him , he is probably hungry and all the lights are out). So I'm trying to whisper and calm him down while trying my hardest to make the rest of that key turn -- to no avail, (I even have the battle scars on my fingers which got bloodied in my futile attempts). After admitting defeat I was at least able to pull out the portion of the key that was in the lock.

Feeling a bit better that at least I could take the key parts to a locksmith first thing in the morning to see if he could remake the key -- I accept what has happened as best I can and I'm also extremely relieved because I KNOW with both parts of the key now in possession it is going to be cheaper than to have a locksmith come out and replace the cylinder.

With no choice but to go back to work, I reach the avenue and see a bus coming -- problem is I don't have anymore loose change (but I do have the transfer from the first bus ride). I figure if I explain what happened to the bus driver he'd be compassionate enough to let me ride. So I get on the bus, put the transfer in the fare box which gets rejected and immediately I begin to explain my plight. As I do so I pull out the broken portion of the key that I pulled out of the cylinder to show the bus driver to corroborate my story and as I am showing it to him, it slips out of my hand and drops directly into the farebox!!!!

Family, family, family....you could have fried bacon, eggs and anything else eggs on my head!! I was heated. That was the last straw! (I mean I couldn't come up with this to put in book if you waved a million dollars in front of me!!)

The bus driver must have heard something go into the farebox but nothing registered in the amount box so he asks "what was that that you just dropped in the box?" That's when I realized that the man hadn't been paying me any attention!! Didn't he know that was my key????

I couldn't even answer him! Nor did I any longer care whether or not he was gonna let me on because I marched it to the first seat I saw (just like I was Miss Mass Transit of 2014 y'all) and sat all of these 185 lbs down and just glared at everybody!

But God is good because he sent a friend my way. Pudge got on at the next stop and as I told him the all that had happened within just 20 minutes he was crying and made me laugh too. What else I could I do? Especially since I had never gotten around to making a duplicate key. But in the words of Don Cornelius "you can bet your bottom dollar." I'll have two made tomorrow when I get that new cylinder.

So I'm safe back here at work,,,AGAIN!!!

Much love people and thanks for letting me get this off my chest!
