The Cutting Edge of NEO

Neo is part of a cutting edge patented therapy, called ActaLine, that is turning the world of weight management upside down.

Neo device Neo is a device with a multi-polar magnetic component that has been specifically developed to support the body’s physiological functions by helping to gently regulate the meridians or channels responsible for health.

Meridians are rivers that channel electromagnetic energy to all the major organs of the body. Each organ has its own personal meridian but these meridians connect with each other as well, so that the meridian of one organ can have a dramatic effect on another organ. These rivers of energy as they flow throughout the body also affect the muscles, joints bones etc.

When “blockages” occur along these pathways, illness results, both mentally and physically. This is why the range of physical and emotional issues that can be affected by this method of opening meridians is so vast. These highways or channels are accessible via the skin at certain locations on the body that have more conductivity than surrounding areas of skin. These areas can be stimulated by many different means. Our method of stimulation via the multi-polar magnetic device has proved to be amazingly effective for this purpose.

The effect of this method of application of the Neo device on specially selected locations on the human body is far reaching. These meridians or channels drive the entire body both emotionally and physically. They carry the electromagnetic energy that keeps all life going.

The Traditional Chinese Medical Theory:

Our method of stimulation via the octapolar magnetic device has proved to be amazingly effective for this purpose.

An example of this is in regard to weight balance:

It’s known that acupuncture has an effect on weight balance, and is applied usually but not exclusively on the ear. We have found that accessing the channel or highway at other locations on the body has proved very effective in this regard.

This program is not a fast weight loss and fast gain it back type of program. Those diets just don’t work! There will be some individuals that will experience fast weight loss, some will have a slower and steady reaction to the individualized programs outlined for your specific body type. Its action is on balancing the meridians or channels which results in the body experiencing natural changes that will reflect in how food is processed resulting in behavior changes in eating habits. The goal is always better overall health!

  • Ankle (#16)

The outer ankle is one location that accesses the bladder energy meridian which is paired with the kidney which it will also influence. One of the acupuncture points we access, the bladder channel, is through Jin Shin Jyutsu location #16 on the outer ankle, which correlates to the needling points BL 60, 61, 62.

This channel runs up the back of the body paralleling the spinal cord and has a great influence on the sympathetic and parasympathetic trunks of the autonomic nervous system.

One of the many things controlled by the autonomic nervous system via the hypothalamus is digestion and metabolism. It is known that the Hypothalamus influences the feedback cycle controlling insulin levels in the body. There have been many studies of the effect of the autonomic nervous system and weight gain. What we have found is that by balancing the meridians associated with the autonomic nervous system, the eating patterns, and energy levels of individuals have naturally improved resulting in weight loss. The reverse would theoretically be true since the same meridians would affect general weight imbalance, so depending on the issue with the meridian, weather deficient in energy causing weight gain, or excessive in energy causing issues gaining weight, the balancing of the channel or highway would correct the problem.

This ankle location (#16 outer ankle) affects the hypothalamus of which one of its many influences is controlling the body’s weight and appetite.

The outer ankle location (#16) also affect gallbladder meridian points which also influence the liver. The locations on the outer ankle would be GB points 40, and 41.
This meridian is in charge of the ‘Central Clearing Department’ in Chinese medicine. It has an effect on the lymphatic system to clear out toxic byproducts. This meridian helps the liver do its job of getting rid of impurities as well as helping the liver perform its other various and important tasks, one of which is its influence on the body’s glucose and insulin levels.

The gallbladder also helps the digestion of fats, breaking them up so they can be assimilated properly. If the bile of the gallbladder doesn’t break up fats we wouldn’t get the full value of what we eat. Stimulated by eating a meal, bile acids are released into the small intestine where fats are emulsified breaking them down to smaller droplets spread over a wider surface area making them more workable for the enzymes to break them down allowing absorption. When the body is able to process the foods properly, getting the nutrients to where they are needed, cravings decrease because the body is satisfied. With proper nutrient assimilation general energy is improved.

This location on the outer ankle (#16) as stated prior also helps “take the trash out”. This helps weight loss. It’s scientifically known that toxins effects weight. The body stores toxin in the fat cells. Certain chemicals that we are all exposed to interfere with the body’s ability to run properly. One example of this is PCB. It is known that PCB’s can block the thyroid from working properly affecting metabolism and thus weight gain. It’s also known that PCB’s can cause diabetes, affecting the blood sugar levels. Through use of the Jin Shin Jyutsu point at the outer ankle the body is assisted in toxin removal by the strengthening of the gallbladder and liver meridians. This location would even have some positive effects on the blood by enhancing the livers ability to filter impurities out.

The outer ankle location is also responsible for a healthy lymphatic system which has also been associated with weight loss.

  • Arm (#19)

This is a point of calming, clearing the mind and improving concentration. It improves the ability to focus, reducing the tendency to become distracted. It helps stiffness and pain in the shoulder, neck, hand, forearm, and wrist. It helps toothaches and issues with the jaw. It also helps with head issues of chemical or emotional origin.

If the ileum segment of the small intestine is not working well you feel tired and generally weak. You may experience constipation, lose your appetite, lose weight, suffer from anemia, have nerve problems, and anxiety. Have numbness and tingling in the hands and feet. Suffer from dizziness and issues with balance. Depression, insomnia, poor memory, dementia, and soreness of the mouth and or tongue can also occur with a lack of B12.

  • Back of Neck (Atlas)

The proper balance of this point location is essential for good health. It is related to cervical vertebrae 1 which is the connection between the brain and the rest of the body. If this location is not up to par this important dialog can be hindered resulting in a whole host of problems.

One of those problems is its effect on the parasympathetic nervous system. The hypothalamus is greatly affected by imbalances in this system. It’s the link between the endocrine and the central nervous system. The hypothalamus has a huge influence on our digestion, metabolism, and insulin levels. A balanced hypothalamus is a must for proper weight loss.

  • Base of the Throat

The location at the base of the throat which correlates to needling point Central Vessel 22 is associated in Chinese medicine with hypothyroidism.

Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) slows the metabolism and a slow metabolism leads to weight gain. Metabolism controls the rate our body burns the calories we consume. The thyroid also is a regulator of the time it takes for food to pass through the digestive tract which would play a role in how nutrients are absorbed by our body.

Low thyroid hormones also have an effect on neurotransmitters like dopamine. When dopamine levels drop so does our motivation and willpower, not things we want to lose when trying to lose!
Dopamine is linked in our brain to the feelings of pleasure, reward and enjoyment.

Dopamine is released by pleasurable experiences and for many of us that experience is related to food, comforting food. When the thyroid is “off” dopamine levels drop, the brain looks for ways to increase it, hunger increases, and off to the kitchen we go!

Placing the Neo on the base of the throat stimulates the meridian that traditionally is associated with the thyroid, helping to balance the electromagnetic energy and helping us feel better.

  • Navel

The navel is a point location that has a powerful effect on abdominal issues and helps with the bowels so it improves digestion. Good digestion results in proper absorption of nutrients which cuts down hunger and gives us better energy. This location is actually associated with energy storage for the body.

The navel location is also considered our major emotional center. It helps balance our emotions which is a great benefit when we’re trying to lose the pounds. We all know that eating is not always motivated by hunger and is often motivated by our emotions. How many of us have experienced upset and tried to resolve it with a container of Haggen-Dazs. When the ice cream is gone our problems still remain!

The navel location has traditionally been used to help balance the emotions. The Neo placed at this location gently and effectively restores balance to this extremely important energy point.

  • Wrist (#17)

Located on the pinky side of the wrist in the depression. Place your finger at the crease of the wrist and you should feel the depression just above the bone that sticks out but it’s more in line with the pinky side of the hand.

The small intestine meridian is responsible for the absorption of nutrients, digestion, and elimination. It’s responsible for the crucial job of separating waste material from nutritious components in food. The nutritive components are distributed throughout the body and the waste products continue on to the large intestine to be eliminated. The ileum section of the small intestine is where B12 is absorbed which helps the nervous system, the blood, and helps make DNA.

When the small intestine is doing its job properly, the nutrients from the foods we eat are absorbed and used by the body, the gastrointestinal tract sends the “full” signal to the brain resulting in the reduction of hunger. The placing of the Neo on the wrist (#17) seems to affect the meridian of the small intestine assisting it to do its job more efficiently resulting, for most people, in reduction in appetite and cravings.
